This privacy policy explains how ESGE AG processes personal data when you visit bamix.com. It applies in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. No online shop

bamix.com is an information website. No products are sold and no orders, payments or customer accounts are processed for purchases on this website.

3. Data we process

a) Visiting the website. When you access bamix.com, technically necessary data is processed automatically, such as IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, browser and device information. This is required to deliver the website, ensure its security and prevent misuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website).

b) Contact by email, phone or contact form. If you contact us, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, company, country, message) to handle your request, including partnership, press and service enquiries. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

c) Newsletter. If you subscribe to a newsletter, we process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

d) Language and country recognition. To show you the right language and the bamix® partners for your country, your approximate location may be derived from your IP address. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use technically necessary cookies to operate the website (e.g. language settings, security, storing your cookie preferences). Analytics or marketing cookies are only used with your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive), which you can give or refuse via our cookie banner. 5. Recipients and processors

We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements, in particular:

Shopify International Ltd. (Ireland) and its affiliates – hosting and operation of the website
Apps used within Shopify for contact forms, translations, site search, geolocation, email communication and cookie consent management

Where you are referred to a bamix® distributor or retailer, that company is a separate controller for any data you provide to it.

6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland

Some service providers may process data in countries without an adequate level of data protection, in particular the USA. In such cases we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (including the Swiss addendum).

7. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by statutory retention obligations. Enquiries are deleted when they have been fully dealt with and no retention obligations apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
